Hey, Neil here.
If you’re like me, you remember that moment when (probably 5 to 35 years ago) you heard the song that would ultimately change your whole world of guitar.
For me, it was “Grandfather’s Clock”... specifically John Fahey’s arrangement.
I knew that was the direction I needed to go.
Before that, I was just playing around on guitar in my friend’s garages.
And after?
It gave me something to shoot for. I knew I’d be able to pick up my guitar, pluck through a couple bars, and people would instantly know what song I was playing. (I didn’t have to sing!)
I never went back. I set my sights on becoming a master of fingerpicking.
Around 35 years later, I can play almost anything I hear, by ear alone. Not bad, huh?
Do you have a story like that?
I’ve had hundreds, maybe thousands of students over the years, come to me with the same complaint.
“I’m over my head with even the simplest fingerpicking songs.”
I don’t blame them. When I got started, no one gave me the step-by-step, hand-in-hand instructions to begin fingerpicking… let alone getting halfway decent!
I had to seek out great teachers. And indeed, I looked all over California. In those days, truly excellent guitar mentors weren’t a quick ‘google search’ away.
Today, however, it’s easy for almost anyone to slap up a quick website and call themselves a Guitar Guru (or whatever else).
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help you cut through all the crap that’s out there.
It's why I’m giving you this fast, easy, method I have created from my over 40+ years playing.
